Stayed here from 8th - 11th June for a football tournament that my son was playing in. It turned out to be a bank holiday weekend in Leiria which added to the atmosphere and fun. Firstly the hotel was just great. Easy to find and had an attached small kitchen if you wanted to eat in. We didn’t as there were plenty of places to eat out. Plenty parking beneath the hotel as well. The receptionist stamps your ticket to let you exit the car park. Breakfast was buffet style and food was plentiful and good quality. Cereal, Eggs, bacon, pastries, fruit etc......what you’d normally expect and very nice. The pool is on the roof and you great views of the castle and Leiria. There is also a small bar. It doesn’t open after 8 on a weekend though but they are comfortable with you buying your own beers from the supermarket and drinking them up there in the evening. As a few of us were there for the football, we didn’t that on one warm evening. Overall a pretty relaxed, clean and well located hotel. I’d thoroughly recommend it. A shout out to the young lady on reception who was very nice and helpful as well. Leiria wasn’t a place I’d heard of to be honest and probably wouldn’t have visited it if not for the football tournament but it was a lovely place, dominated by a great castle. Bars and restaurants were nice, the people really friendly, good football stadium and overall well worth a visit. Finally, the tournament was sponsored by Mr Pizza so we paid it a visit on our first night as we arrived after 10. Fabulous pizzas And for those who like a challenge...the big ones are very big!! Certainly to be shared and not...
Read moreThe family room at Hotel Eurosol residence was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this for a family. It is spacious and has a well equipped kitchen with hob, microwave, kettle, fridge, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. The only things not provided was washing up liquid and tea towels. It is very convenient especially when you can’t/ don’t want to eat out all the time. There is a supermarket just a few minutes walk away from the hotel and the coach station is also right in front of it. We took the coach from Lisbon to Leiria. There is also a play park nearby. The rooms are air conditioned, moderately quiet and has black out curtains. The breakfast was pretty good though, as usual, stay away from the ‘English breakfast’ - I’ve yet to find a hotel outside of the UK that knows how to do this properly! Even the coffee was decent - a rarity in hotels across Europe!|The staff were very friendly...
Read moreWow, I just got home after a lovely one night stay. The hotel has free parking underground which is great for keeping the car safe and cool. The location was exceptional. We had a lovely view of the castle and river. A super easy walk to all Leiria has to offer. The children LOVED the park over the road. Breakfast was just what we needed. Lots of options to suit everyone. Our room had a large sofa bed and separate bedroom with a large bed, perfect for a family of four. The kitchenette was super useful too. Air conditioning in each room was great. The reception and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful.
All in all, we loved this hotel. Thank you for a...
