We received recommendations from previous guests in our airbnb to visit this restaurant. They were not wrong.
We made reservations just in case for a sunday at 20.30, but I believe there were a few tables available as we entered. We were greeted kindly and promptly seated in a very lovely restaurant. The ambiance was great and everything looked very fancy.
As soon as we had sat down we were offered sparkling whine, a bottle of sparkling or still water and a bit of bread to start off. We were given the menu's in an envelope, which I thought was a lovely touch.
The food was interesting. A little bit of an adventurous menu from the chef. When glanced upon the first time one might think these are strange combinations, but I implore you to let yourself be amazed.
For our starters we had the eggplant and carpaccio. Both were fantastic meals, but the eggplant definitely stood out. The different ingredients that make up this dish complimented eachother wonderfully.
As our main courses we ordered the asparagus and pork risotto, and the duck with black rice. Again both of these dishes are delicious, but I would highly suggest the duck!
We ended the night with the chocolate soup and the egg and bacon pudding. Both were delicious in their own way and I can recommend going for a dessert!
We ordered a bottle of the house white with our meals and we were very satisfied with this choice.

Didn’t feel warmly welcomed when we first came in and throughout the meal. Server didn’t bother explaining how dishes were prepped or why it’s special (unlike other Michelin starred restaurants) Decor inside was tastefully done, though lighting was inconsistent between rooms (some brighter than others). So if you care about taking photos, sit in a brighter lit room They gave us a welcome drink (sparkling wine, that was nice) For food: we had — bread: served with olive oil and hummus; seemed expensive for £2.5 per pax for small serving — aubergine: baked well, but caramel in sauce overpowered all other flavours (miso and eggplant) — ceviche: popcorn was a strange inclusion… in traditional Peruvian ceviches, they use a local “popped” corn and fried corn which works, but here felt like a poor imitation attempt. Ceviche was too creamy (lacked freshness), whereas it’s meant to be tangy enough to whet the appetite — pork cheeks: might’ve been their best dish. Pork was tender and delicious, but the coconut milk sauce didn’t complement it well — cod confit: fish was tasteless, again too creamy.
Didn’t bother to stay for dessert, glad we didn’t get a bottle of wine and only had single glass pours to finish.
The bill had to be corrected; originally listed 6 glasses of wine when we only had 2.
The most disappointing meal in Lisbon, especially after we had high hopes after seeing...

I ordered “ Marinated Veal Loin Kebab” It came with potatoes and I believe bokchoy.
Meat is pretty over seasoned. I felt like I was eating an Indian food, because of the taste it left in my mouth. It’s maybe the marinade they use, but that was too much mixed spices there. As someone who has been cooking a lot, and mostly making vegetable and meat dishes, I was not satisfied with the taste of that meat.
For the perfect marination and if you guys want that kebab to be soft even when it’s well done, try marinating it in soy sauce and black pepper, no salt. Sometimes if you want that kick of spice, add crushed cumins. Trust me, it’s gonna make this dish taste much better.
Potatoes were not cooked well, and if you want to include potatoes as side dish it’s always better to cook it till it’s golden brown and little crispy. Plus, add salt, pepper and before serving sprinkle some dried or just fresh dill on top.
Bokchoy just ruined the taste of my dish and left a very bad taste in my mouth. Instead of bokchoy you could just put some asparagus ( very classic ) or just a plain green salat on the side.
Overall good experience, food could have...
