A very pleasant surprise! We came without expectations — we knew the coworking space above the restaurant, but not the restaurant itself.
From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly. We were a group of four (two couples) and felt immediately at ease.
We ordered a bottle of Douro - Consensual Reserve (red wine), which paired very well with the dishes. Following the staff’s recommendation, we opted for a “to share” experience with six different dishes.
Cold dishes: • Tártaro de novilho, couve lombarda, maionese de kimchi, quinoa crocante • Salmão, molho de maracujá e siracha, pico de galo com erva-príncipe, salicórnia
Hot dishes: • Pastéis de massa tenra de cozido à portuguesa, molho de malagueta • Camarão grelhado, puré de alho confitado e batata, broa crocante, óleo de ervas aromáticas
Mains: • Rosbife, molho de mostardas, polenta frita • Risotto de polvo, grelos, tomate seco, salsa verde
All the dishes were well-prepared, combining different flavors and textures, and brought a creative, modern twist to traditional Portuguese cuisine.
The only downside was the portion size compared to the price — at an average of €40 per person, we felt the dishes could have been a little more generous.
