My review is totally based on the fact that I design experiences for clients. This place is lacking the basics of customer service.
We walk in, no staff is available to serve, usually in a place that large you will see few staff members around the tables between cleaning them and welcoming guests …nothing here
Then you assume that you go over the counter to order.”, land then you find your seat.
We went to the 1st cashier, and the barista “looked” busy doing something, so we went to the other cashier that actually had a barista standing. We stood there waiting for her to look at our faces after she finishes chitchatting with her 3rd barista friend.
Then suddenly she looked at us angrily and shouted “go to other cashier” and just ran away…we went back to the other cashier by the busy barista, waiting for any of the 3 baristas to take our order. NOTHING. As if they don’t want to serve seriously!!
The three of them were just around there pretending to be busy. The place wasn’t that crowded at all, this was at 8pm Saturday night!
I asked them if they’re about to close just to see if that’s the reason behind this bizarre attitude, they said no. Ok, can I place my order, ZERO response …like really 1 kept going back and forth and didn’t look happy at all, 1 kept opening and closing the drawers and barely responding to our questions, and one was cleaning the coffee machine.
Then the straw was when I asked if we can order on the table. The barista guy said “yes” we told him ok we’ll be sitting outside whenever you’re ready then he said “yes but you have to pay here first”!!!!
This is when I decided to leave as this place is shit….it’s chaos, zero manners, zero process, zero service standards, they decide to serve when they want whoever they want.

Read moreI just moved into the new apartments next door and found this coffee shop. Started off as a great experience in my three or four visits. Table host staff were very friendly, engaging and fun. I spent around €15-20 per visit.
Their espresso martinis are one of the best and great value for money (€5).
Why the 1 star? Lack of consistency in service. I came back from work one of the day, around 6:30pm, very tired and exhausted so thought I’ll get a takeaway dinner from here and go up. I asked the counter when I should place my order before they close (8pm) so that I don’t inconvenience them. I was told 7:30pm latest.
I ordered an espresso martini, got a table outside and did some work on my laptop. Went in at 7:25pm to place an order for takeout of a toastie and the counter guy said kitchen was closed because the chef decided to leave early.
I’m not sure how I’m supposed to react at this point, knowing I asked them when I should put an order in, I was sat there and no one bothered to come to notify me that the chef wasn’t there and they’re short staffed.
Incredibly frustrating as there was no empathy, the attitude was very much “it is what it is, not my problem”.
I am not frustrated with their lack of staff, these things happen, what I’m annoyed with is that knowing I wanted to order some food for dinner after an exhausting day, they didn’t come to ask if I could order earlier because the chef wanted to leave early or come and inform me that the chef has decided to leave so I’d have to sort an alternative. Basic customer service..
Safe to say I’ve not stepped in there again, despite how good their espresso...
Read moreI came here a couple of years ago and thought it was okay, neither positive or negative review worthy. However, the prices have increased and the quality decreased.
The poached eggs were so overdone I could have used them as play dough (I actually lost my yellow play dough recently and considered saving the yolks as a replacement). And it took around 30 mins for the coffees to arrive...I imagine that's because they were waiting for the yolks to be ready to play with. The dishes and coffee weren't terrible, they just lacked flavour, and I expect more for the price tbh. €4+ for a flat white and €12+ for slightly burnt bacon and overcooked eggs on semi-untoasted bread.
The service itself was pleasant, just slow. And the atmosphere/view is peaceful, but that's mainly thanks to the river next to it (provided by mother earth, and not Delta coffee... thankfully).
Overall, I wouldn't recommend for brunch, but worth a shot if you're really stuck for ideas. Also, it looks okay to...
