The meat was very good, I'm not a fan of snails but my wife is. She would like me to rate this a 5 because she says the snails (which they are very famous for) are to die for! The best ones she has eaten. Anytime someone refers to snails, she mentions this restaurant. For me, it's only a 4. The meat dishes are not that many and are very good but not perfect. Despite its location, I highly recommend a visit as it is well worth the effort. I had the pleasure of trying the bacalhau a bras, which was undoubtedly one of the best ones I have ever tasted. Read moreDetesto restaurantes com patrões céticos. No inverno, fizemos várias visitas e não nos largaram a mesa porque não tinham clientes. No verão, com acréscimo de empregados, os patrões na conversa com “os amigos” (por interesse claro) e os empregados a “carborar”. Curioso, aparece a patroa, para abrir a garrafa de vinho que pedimos, a quem eu questiono: “não tem aquelas entradas que habitualmente tem?! Resposta: no verão não temos tempo para isso.” Abandonando a mesa… feio. Só triste e feio. Conheço este e os seus dois concorrentes da rua, “desde que me lembro de ser gente” (à mais de 30 anos). Ver o sucesso subir-nos à cabeça e a ganância de ganhar dinheiro acima de qualquer interesse…. Só nos conta os dias enquanto pessoas.
