Dois e Dois — Restaurant in Lisbon

This is our favorite restaurant in Lisbon. We ordered their Douradinha grelhada na brasa (grilled fish) and Espetadas de boi grelhadas na lenha (beef skewer), and both were super delicious! The fish was grilled to perfection - slightly crispy on the outside and very juicy on the inside. The beef chunks in the skewer were surprisingly huge but still maintained the tenderness.

They don’t have English menu though, so it might be a little bit challenging to place orders if you don’t understand any Portuguese. Gladly the staffs here were super helpful and tried their best to explain each dish with great patience and also recommended some of their popular items to us, so we can enjoy these great meals!

This is definitely in my to-go list and I can’t wait to try more items in...

I’ve been in Lisbon for around ten days and despite eating at a number of good places, but this is my first review. I walked by this place and noticed there was a good mix of locals and expats, always a good sign. I decided to sit down and order the grilled sardines and chocolate mousse. Everything was really simple but really, really good. The fish was really fresh and the portions were frankly enormous. The restaurant is una secluded area outside of the main paths but quite easy to reach. The main feature is that the price we payed compared to the size of the servings was quite low. All the dishes had some sides (we ordered the picanha and the sides were some fries, rice and salad). Overall the food was ok and the meat was tender and tasty without some “special” or typical flavors. The staff was nice and even if they don’t speak English we had no issues.
