Noisy, flashy, pretentious and way too expensive for what you get. We spent the dinner trying to figure out the concept for the decoration and overall atmosphere. Not sure what my friends thought about it (we couldn't talk due to the loud music) so my final conclusion is that it's a one-night kitsch cruise experience on land, complete with live music, shows, and food.
Decoration: screens showing landscape video loops instead of windows (this location had absolutely no view), robots, moving light orbs, simulated flames, waterfall with graphics, large screen to show the live music stage, some kitsch sculptures like a giant purple cloaked-knight-meets-angel at the entrance (couldn't figure out what it meant), lights constantly changing colours.
Music: too loud and without a coherent theme (tropical samba, hard rock, jazz, fado, etc. I'm surprised they couldn't fit some industrial music wich would be fitting to the technological gadgets). If you plan to spend the night dining with your friends and enjoying a pleasant conversation, forget it. Later the band was replaced by a DJ... won't comment on his music choices, sounded like having microwave popcorn for dessert.
Service: appalling, on the verge of ridiculous. Surprisingly that was a positive bonus because at least it made us laught throughout the evening. Table reserved for 10, the robot took us to a table for 6 (and crashed into another robot which was quickly removed by a waiter). The call button used to signal the waiters was mostly ignored so we had to signal them whenever we wanted to order... repeatedly because orders often fell into oblivion. And orders took ages to arrive (for instance, a beer ordered during the main course arrived by the end of dessert). Side note: navigating through the online menu (there are no printed ones) is not easy and the long descriptions say very little about what we're getting. Main course was brought in by a robot, no waiter in sight ("it works!", we tought...) but as we took out 3 or 4 of the 10 dishes the robot went away! Another 10 minutes to call the waiter to bring back the robot. When the desserts came the robot was pushed by a waiter like a high-tech tray cart... but the waiter couldn't explain which was which and we had to try each and guess... all overly sweet.
Food: I must be honest, the cod some of us ate was very tasty and of fine quality (thumbs up for the "Cod Portucale"... which failed on the advertised side dish, came with no potatoes and a parsimonious serving of vegetables). Most of the other dishes were bland and/or with ridiculously small servings (you could serve the entire risotto on a spoon). Desserts were definitely under par (my advice is to pass). Every dish is overpriced (except for that particular cod dish).
Atmosphere: the big dilemma. I'd say it's like a variety show for loners to meet other loners not having to spend too much effort on interesting conversations. The live music was OK for a small local bar but the loud sound simply ruined the time we like to spend talking to friends, the cooking show was depressing (looked like most was previously cooked), the colour changing lights were simply annoying, the waiters were inexperienced (and looked unmotivated), the MC was more fitting for a mainstream low budget cruise ship.
Overall: I don't recommend. The only thing positive is we still got some good...

Lot of (not positive ) things to say. I will start with the fact that i'm really surprised by the amont of positive comment.. that are maybe fake accordingly to the number of people present in the room when we were. Then the language barrier existing since the waiters are not able to understand you, or pretend to when you speak in english. So we asked for tap water, he nodded, and finally brought us 50cl of bottled water for 5 people (that have been charged at the end of the meal obviously). Same things with the appetizers (that are "optional", so not free), we asked him not to take it away since we were not finished, we couldn't make him understand , so 10.50€ of food not consumed were thrown away ... few minutes later we see him TWERKING and laughing at the end of the room....obviously this was really inappropriate....
The building is put together, but we couldn't hear each other thanks to the saxophonist and the water unnecessarily pouring loudly. Robot are actually useless since the waiters are running behind it, does it really justify the price?
And last but not least the food.. few adjectif come in mind : tasteless , bland, sickning, disappointing, too salty... i saw few response here from the restaurant owner saying that people could have send back the dishes saying it was too salty or whatever, escuse us for the price to have a minimum of expectations. ( + when you are there you just want to leave as quickly as possible. )
To summarize.. don't trust 5* Google comments, do...
Read moreI went to dine at this place on a day where there was a burlesque show. Sadly, the experience was not good, so here is the full review:
When me and my friends arrived, there was no one to welcome us , but it only took a minute for someone to help out. There was a robot that guided us to our table (very technological stuff that you don't see everywhere). The restaurant has a small stage where part of the show takes place, and guess what, our table had a metal pillar that blocked the view. The staff was nice and allowed to swap to another table, however most of the show was directed to a specific set of tables. Everyone on the sides (like my group) doesn't get to see as much. The waiters were dressed accordingly but they didn't do much, weren't even able to tell us which dish was what we requested (which is ridiculous, you work there you should know the names of the dishes you serve). The only employee that was somewhat decent and tried to talk to our table a bit, was reading the lyrics of the songs from his mobile phone.
To summarise, since this is getting long: The food was good, but overall expensive since you pay 5€ just to be there + the price of the food. The show is quite bad, singing while reading from a phone, "dancing" that consists of waving your arms a bit. Worst of all, the show is directed to a specific set of tables, the side seats are almost ignored. Service is bad too, waiters don't know the dishes, left food on our old table after we changed seats.
