The service and food was horrible. The worst ive ever experienced in my life. The waiters took advantage of the fact that we don't speak Portuguese and charged us for things we did not know we had to pay for by sending another guy over who spoke to us in Portugese about what we thought was bread and ended up being 3 additions to our bill. The food was awful. I had to send my dish back because it was overcooked and inedible, and it took forever for the waiter to take a replacement order. I had to flag him down to order a cup of bland soup. There are too many details of how bad this experience was to write. The waiter took each item of food amway without asking us if we were finished without even asking us if we were done. He then turned his back and never thanked us for our patronage. Because we don't speak Portuguese, the server took advantage of this and added items to our order without clarifying that such items would result in extra charges to our bill. When we were seated he placed olives on the table immediately, which led us to believe that they were complimentary. However, when we got the check there was a significant charge for them. The same with bread, which almost always is free in my country. We were paying customers and were not made to feel welcome at all. The service was awful and so were the entrees. I left almost all of my food on the plate. I would never recommend this place to anyone and strongly recommend avoiding this place if you are a non-Portuguese speaking...
Read morePela primeira vez na vida não consegui comer um prato. Pedi ritoso. Claro que não esperava que fosse um óptimo risotto num restaurante com comida tradicional portuguesa, contudo, apresentaram-me uma papa de arroz com sabor a caldo knorr e com queijo mozarellha ralado sem estar derretido espalhado por cima (e cogumelos de lata quando o risotto era de camarão, provavelmente o preparado deve ser igual para todos os risotos que têm disponíveis). Acho que tinham mais a ganhar em não apresentar pratos que não se aproximam sequer do que é o original. Por parte dos empregados poderia ter havido maior complacência ou pelo menos interesse pela satisfação do cliente pois nem sequer houve qualquer curiosidade em saber porque deixei o prato intocado. Não queria que esta crítica fosse destrutiva mas é a primeira vez que estou a voluntariamente a fazer um comentário público depreciativo mas senti vergonha porque ainda por cima fazia-me acompanhar de amigos estrangeiros que como é óbvio não ficaram bem impressionados. Este é o típico restaurante que vive de dois ou três bons pratos que agradam aos clientes habituais que já os conhecem e que não conseguem fidelizar novos clientes pois nem sequer há simpatia do staff...
