McDonald's — Restaurant in Lisbon

It's a Macdonald's. This one is housed in a well cherished Lisbon modernist landmark building, Caleidoscópio, which used to house a small shopping center, of which shops only a bookstore made up to 2010.

Included in the overall effort to rehabilitate the Park, the city, the University of Lisbon and McDonald's established a protocol to refurbish the Caleidoscópio building. McDonald's would finance it, and would keep 20% of the building space for its restaurant and drive through. With a wide working hours (daily 9-23h) McDonald's would help bring "eyes to the street" and boost safety in the area. The remaining part of the building functions as an academic student center. That, and the proximity to the University Campus, draws in a younger crowd to this McDonald's.

There is a nice outdoor sitting area facing the garden side (although the loud pop music could be tuned down), but orders may be made to go and enjoyed elsewhere in the Park. The indoors are clean, as per McDonald's standards worldwide and has a few seats too. Human interaction is reduced to a minimum as orders are made through...

I have been there so many times (going down for a coffee it to eat while studying in the student center upstairs). Very poor Mcdonald’s it is. Bad organization. Really bad. I get that there is a lot of people, but they have a mess. They do not ever use the screens to show what order numbers are up. They only yell the numbers in Portuguese. Why? You have the screens! Just use them, come on. Also, when it is busy you cannot use the McCaffe, you come up to it and no one comes. Sometimes you wait 10 minutes for one coffee. Sometimes the coffee is already waiting, but you didn’t know, because no one called you and you get it cold. At least the place is rather clean. I think this is the only highlight. Otherwise, probably worse Mcdonald’s in Lisbon. If you don’t have to eat there, go...

Em termos de comida é um Mc. Donald's como outro qualquer. O Drive In sabe a um luxo nos dias em que a cabeça explode de cansaço.

Mas hoje decidi vir avaliar para agradecer a atenção dos 2 funcionários que estavam no Drive In perto das 23:50 de dia 17 de Dez.

Sou farmacêutica numa farmácia em Lisboa que está à beira de colapsar com tanto stress provocado pelos incessantes pedidos de testes Covid. Soubemos às 18H que o protocolo dos testes gratuitos com que funcionavamos terminaria dali a 2H (em vez de terminar no final do ano), o que me deixou numa angustia terrível pensar como vou gerir todos os clientes (e não clientes) a quem dissemos para passarem amanhã, e nas vésperas de Natal, pela nossa Farmácia para virem fazer teste e afinal não vamos poder ajudar porque acabaram de nos afogar com um protocolo biliões de vezes mais moroso e complexo, com papeis para preenchermos à mão..... Tudo com vista a tentar ajudar as pessoas que chegam até nós. E no meio do meu desespero, cruzei-me com 2 funcionários do McDonald's que olharam para mim, e eu senti que se preocuparam genuinamente comigo e com o mau ar com que eu estava, e disseram-me que tudo vai ficar bem..... Frase que eu tantas vezes disse hoje aos meus utentes que testaram positivo.
