This restaurant is a gem!! I have been to Portugal twice in 2 years and of all the restaurants we have eaten at... this is my favorite!!!! Marco was our server and he is so sweet! We wanted a white wine and the one he recommended was amazing! He had the BEST recommendations on food too! We had vegetable soup, veal cubes, shrimp curry, and a mix of the most delicious desserts! I didn't know I liked curry until eating it here! So delicious!! I wish we had another night in Portgual. Would eat here again! A place where you can find the best Portuguese homecooked-style meals, very faithful to local tradicional cuisine. It can be a great place to eat at considering the quality vs cost ratio. I've been here often and I still vividly recommend it. It's one of those places you cannot go wrong with and the serving is fast and effective. Went here to escape the rain after visiting the nearby Oceanarium. Warmly welcomed and shown to a table, our Portuguese is non-existant but they have a menu in English and the waiter's English was great. We ordered the baked cod with potatoes and the 1/2 chicken in lemon sauce. Food was fantastic and the beer was ice cold and tasty! Recommend the chocolate mousse cake for dessert.
