TejoàVista — Restaurant in Lisbon

I almost never post while I am in a place but I regret not coming here before while staying in the marina across the way. The meal I had here was great. Flavorful steak and beer sauce, the wine was delicious and the waitress was polite and kind. In fact she was the only server in Portugal to ask how how I liked my meal after the first few bites. They were attentive and the creme natal gelado desert was amazing(full disclosure I had two 🙂) the only suggestion I would have to the delicious food wouod be for the beef with cerveijia molho to have some greens or carrots on top for presentation instead of cauliflower (keep the garlic though!)

The food is horrible! I was here in January and liked choco frito! It was amazing with sauce and french fries. But now in April I came and again ordered choco frito, this time they brought them overcooked without sauce and fries, and the choco is very poor quality! On my question why is such difference, they told: for economic reasons they took out fries. The pica pau is made from bad quality meat, impossible to chew some pieces and with no taste. They have unlimited grilled steak (EUR 16) with unlimited sides (french fries, rice, black beans with bacon sauce) I would say food is amazing especially the grilled steak however the service is disaster Kept following up with 3 waiters for my order and with my drink for more than 40 minutes (i would say worth waiting if I wasn't hungery but at least I fully charged my phone so you can calculate the time i spent waiting...
