This place is superb, I'd highly recommend it. I spend most of the year in the algarve, I've tried all the Thai places around. They're okay but either expensive or not very authentic and not actually cooked or run by Thai people.

When I seen this place had a real Thai owner/cook I said we have to try this one. Small menu (I'll attach a pic) and just 1 person cooking, but the food was excellent. Really good value too, I'd have spent twice that on Thai food in Vilamoura marina and the stuff tonight was better quality.

After we'd eaten the owner/chef came out of the kitchen to say hello and ask how our meal was. Honestly, it was so nice to see someone who's clearly so into their job and happy doing what they're doing. She was genuinely delighted to hear that we all loved our meals and she was explaining about the cooking. Just so friendly and nice to see customer service like that in the algarve, its often not that way here :)

Those prices on the menu also included side dishes of rice too - anywhere else we've went you're getting charged for those too so it's even better value than it looks at first. And the drinks were cheap too, its just all round better value for money than the other Thai options.

With the high quality food, good value for money (70 euros for 3 of us to have 2 courses each and a couple of drinks each) and the awesome owner doing something authentic you can't get anywhere else, I'd definitely recommend trying this place. I can't see me eating in any of the other Thai places again really....

No ifs no buts, this is the worst Thai food we have ever eaten anywhere on the planet. The restaurant doesn't look inviting, its web site is not inviting and its menu is not inviting. But it has a very high score on Google, so we in spite of all those negatives, we thought we'd give it a try.

Let’s begin with the highpoint: There was no problem with the service, the waitress was enthusiastic and attentive; though with so few customers, she was never really tested.

Putting everything else to one side, the fundamental problem must lie in the kitchen, because if the food is good, (nearly) everything else can be forgiven. It was in the kitchen where each dish was tasted prior to serving, and the kitchen must also have been aware of plates coming back less than half eaten. That’s the strongest possible signal that something is not right!

So, of course, we should have trusted our initial instincts! But there were all those great Google reviews. In the end I think the biggest question this raises, is over how far one should trust the credibility of...

Kho thot kha The pad thai was very overcooked and no fresh herbs in it.Only some fresh taugé on the top. And no taste at all. The papaya salad had no fresh long beans and dry shrimps and not served with nothing else. No prik nam pla. When I ask they served it. In thailand people cook and it will be directly served . Here looks like if everything is allready prepared and later warmed up. When I want to order sticky riced with papaya with one ball of ice cream was it was not possible because they allready had prepared and they could not sell a half portion?????? I only want to put some iceream with it.....

The thai cook sent me a message on messenger . I apologize when she was really heart in the hart that was not my purpose. I also cook myself for my Thai friends and family so I am not a common visitor. Please come and eat thai food yourself, at Eat Thai Craft Bar, probably you have an other opinion than me. And will eat nice thai food. Aroy Here in the Algarve is it really difficult to find the real Thai...

What an outstanding Thai Establishment that my parents and I stopped in for a meal on 10/10/25. Warmly welcomed by the owner Noki, an amazing woman. We started off with remarkable crispy spring rolls with tantalizing thai chili sauce, the spring rolls were flavorful and well balanced, and we also had the Tom Yum soup, absolutely delicious, I personally would've loved it a little more spicy, I can handle Thai Spicy, Tom Yum is an staple and it's always delicious with authentic herbs & spices. Now to our entrees, my father had the green curry with chicken, he enjoyed it, my mother and I had the Pad Thai, Thailand's National Noodle dish, it was really flavorful and well balanced. As an Culinarian/Foodie I Highly Recommend Eat Thai Craft Bar. Tell them Charlie sent ya!

This is probably not a fair review as our meal was specially prepared "off menu" by the owners for us. I've eaten Thai food in multiple eateries in the UK, ranging from basic cafés to linen clothed restaurants and not one of them have "Pineapple fried rice" on the menu. I wasn't even sure that it was a Thai dish until a quick Google search proved that it was. I was a little apprehensive at first as I find most sweet and savoury dishes a little too sweet; this was not the case with this dish. The rice, sauce and fish blended together perfectly and yielded subtle and completely flavours. The desert of mango rice was a perfect finale to an excellent meal. I'd like to return and try some menu items in the future.
