We loved El Ta’koy! When we were looking for a Saturday night dinner spot, we saw this place got great reviews so booked right away and it did not disappoint. I can’t understand how it wasn’t completely full as the food was phenomenal, the service exceptional, and the staff extremely lovely and friendly (special shout out to Fernando, he had great recommendations and was so attentive). After spending a few hours at the beach we were looking for a casual place to have a light dinner. Our visit was a bit messy as our daughter did not wanted to sit visit us first, as she could not see the kids' entertainment on the plaza from the table we got. Brave attempt at a new concept - attractive menu but the food was a 6/10, service 4/10 and atmos 2/10. Spoke to who we guess was a friendly manageress who apologised for our being forgotten - the place is huge and we were one of only two tables on the lower floor - the place is incredibly understaffed and sorry, some of them were just not up to it.
