Pizzeria e gelataria Roma — Restaurant in Loulé

We were a group of 10 people looking to be seated at this establishment. There were many free tables available. The waitress asked if we were eating dinner and we replied that half of us were having dinner and the other half were having ice creams and waffles. The waitress hesitated and went to ask another colleague only to return and tell us that they couldn't help us as we were not all eating dinner. I'm appalled that a group of 10 people could so easily be turned away like that in a restaurantwith empty tables. I have never in my life been to any country where a restaurant turns away paying customers. We actually live in Algarve and were truly embarassed in front of our guests that this kind of thing was even allowed to happen. Please don't ever waste your time going here. Walk a bit further to San Martino where you will be treated as any paying customer should. Truly horrified! Ps - after our fabulous dinner elsewhere we walked passed this awful place to see the same tables still empty 🤣 I wonder if the owner knows this is how their waitresses treat paying...
