Tai Tai — Restaurant in Loulé

Brilliant meal, excellent service, beautiful eatery in general. Does get busy would reccomend booking a table. Reasonably priced for the quality of the food and being on the marina. Really worth the visit, however only given 4 stars to an otherwise 5 star meal due to: we asked to takeaway the food we didn't eat, however when we go home and opened up the bag, all the 3 different meals we took home were all in the same container. Absoloutley disgraceful, they didn't ask if we were allergic to the different meals and if we were it would have been a waste of our Money. We have just left this restaurant and got half way through a really lovely meal, but unfortunately I went to eat a piece of chicken to realise it had a weird texture. When I spat it out to look it was completely raw in the middle. I discreetly told a waiter and didn’t want to cause a scene, but immediately had 3 waiters around me trying to tell me it was a prawn and not chicken. I was more upset with the way the situation was dealt with, I felt they were very defensive and not understanding at all. They agreed to take that particular dish off the bill. The one shining light in an otherwise dull community. The Tai Tai is the only place anyone in Portugal, Spain and Southern France should be eating a Chinese. For those of you who have not voted this as a 5 star, I must know where you’re eating Chinese food. Service phenomenal, food delicious, 6 hungry gentleman thoroughly enjoyed dining in the Tai Tai, we recommend this experience to all.
