BEWARE - MOSQUITO INFESTED WATER - played here 3 days ago on 6th day of a 7 day holiday... not a single mosquito bite until visited here then 3 of us who played got about 30 bites each (mostly on legs) that came up the day after we played. None of us felt the bites at the time so carried on playing 36 holes. As we were on the last hole another woman left saying she was getting bitten. This is because they have turned the fountains & water pumps off to save water & electricity, but they have not emptied the water out. If you do visit use lots of repellant or suffer the consequences!! The golf is expensive at 17€ for 1 course but you can play both for 19€ which is much better value. There is a cafe to get basic food & drink as well as other amusements for children & a play park for very young children. It is good fun & worth a visit, but having played here several times in the past (but not for several years) they seem to have spoiled one of the courses with some very silly metal/plastic obstacles that make it almost impossible to score (especially for young children). This may not seem important but it causes a lot of delay & is frustrating when you have paid 76€ for 4 people!... yes it's for fun, but when you are having to pick up after 6 shots because you cannot score then it becomes a waste of money. The better course is the one to the left when you enter as it is more simple without metal or plastic obstacles, but is still a fair challenge. Both courses are kept in very...
Read moreWe had a fantastic time at Family Golf Park in Vilamoura. We booked our tickets online the night before, which was a breeze, and arrived the next day around 11 am. It was the perfect time to go—not crowded at all, which meant we could take our time and enjoy the game without any pressure. We decided to play both of the 18-hole courses and were really impressed with how well-maintained everything was. The greens were in excellent condition, and the whole park felt clean and well-cared for. The courses offered a great variety of challenges. Some holes were relatively straightforward, while others required more thought and skill, making it fun for everyone in our group. The different levels of difficulty across the 18 holes kept things interesting and ensured a good challenge for both experienced players and beginners. Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience and a great way to spend a couple of hours. We highly recommend Family Golf Park for a fun outing with...
Read moreI was left so upset this evening. We were sold tickets at 5.11pm with no warning of when they were closing. There was five of us x2 adults and x3 children. It cost me €58.
On the 3rd hole they announced the park was closing in 30mins - I assumed this meant for buying tickets at the foyer. On the 9th out of the 18th hole they announced the park was closing.
I’m so upset I spent the best part of £60 and was only able to get half way round. I never would of bought a ticket had i of known we had 40mins.
We left it for the last day to go there so could not carry the game on the next day. And half a refund wasn’t honoured.
It was supposed to be a last fun event for the kids and it just got completely ruined and I feel like I may as well of put £60 in the bin.
I am so dissatisfied and disappointed.
We come here 4-6 times a year. Very poor customer service. I feel they have...
