We’d been recommended to this restaurant, however, we wouldn’t recommend it to others. The concept is great but the execution and a lot of the meat was mediocre. My partner is a former butcher and now a chef and restauranteur back in the UK and he said the starter came in dribs and drabs and the items in skewers were more well cooked than others so the ones at the top had been over charred. The mains were too well cooked at one end, the medium was more medium rare and the medium rare was rare. The cuts of steak weren’t butchered across the grain so the meat was tough, the half chicken was clearly a puissant and bony. The ribs were relatively tasteless and chewy. The restaurant should have provided sauces, dips, marinades. Missed opportunity there. No burger bun for kids burger meal! Sharp steak knives is indicative of tough meat! The staff need more training in many areas eg don’t push past customers as we are walking through. Let us walk first! We had to move our table to create space for other people on another table half way through our meal. There is no upselling or promotion selling. Suggest you do a mixed grill skewer. Whilst eating, 1 hour 40 minutes into the reservation, Ernaldo who looks to be the maitre d' said "not to be rude, but its time for you to leave" showing us the time on his phone with so much sass and attitude. For a party of 10 eating, I would expect more than 2 hours at a table with a bill in excess of €500. Honestly, I have never felt so uncomfortable somewhere and felt bad for the rest of the staff trying to make amends for rudeness and poor customer service skills. Read moreQuite annoyed by how the waiters handled my complaint. I had sirloin without bones on the skewer, and asked for medium rare, erring to the side of medium. On the skewer there were like 8 or 9 pieces, the first ones were grilled nicely to a medium rare, but then the 4th piece was significantly bigger, and I already assumed it will be different. Turns out, it was still blue. Asked the waiter if they could put that piece back on the grill, and they insisted on taking the whole skewer. I told them that I think the remaining other 4 pieces are fine (they were significantly smaller), still they took the remaining meat. Returned to my table like 10 minutes later, the blue piece was now medium, and as it turned out, all the remaining pieces were very well done, dry and completely overcooked.
Quite disappointing for this price point.
Oh, and also the sides are very big, order maximum of 2 small...
