Os Grelhados — Restaurant in Loures

Ontem fui almoçar com a mãezinha, foi o nosso almoço de natal, só as duas, cúmplices nos nossos sorrisos, nos nossos silêncios. Já algum tempo que lhe tinha falado num restaurante em Moscavide que se come muito bem, comida tipicamente portuguesa e que gostava que fossemos lá almoçar. Depois de uma manhã de andarmos às compras na tradicionalmente portuguesa Avenida de Moscavide, como a mãezinha disse, perdemos um pouco a cabeça, cansadas, exaustas e esfomeadas, que isto de ir às compras de natal cansa imenso, lá fomos ao "Os Grelhados" na Rua António Maria Pais 16, em Moscavide. Chegamos perto das duas da tarde, o que foi óptimo, pois a azafama da hora do almoço já tinha passado. Não é um restaurante luxuoso ou de chef, mas a comida é boa e muito saborosa. O staff é maduro, atencioso e faz-nos sentir em casa. Obrigado por nos receberem tão bem e prometemos uma à outra, que vamos voltar brevemente, mas com a família.

Yesterday I went for lunch with Mum, it was our Christmas lunch, just the two of us, complicit in our smiles and our silences. I'd been telling her about a restaurant in Moscavide for some time, where the food is very good, typically Portuguese, and that I'd like us to go there for lunch. After a morning of shopping on the traditionally Portuguese Avenida de Moscavide, as Mum said, we lost our minds a little, tired, exhausted and hungry, as this Christmas shopping is very tiring, so we went to ‘Os Grelhados’ on Rua António Maria Pais 16, in Moscavide. We arrived around two in the afternoon, which was great as the lunchtime hustle and bustle had already passed. It's not a luxurious or chef's restaurant, but the food is good and very tasty. The staff are mature, attentive and make you feel at home. Thank you for welcoming us so well and we promise each other that we'll be back soon, but with the family.

Ayer fui a comer con mamá, era nuestra comida de Navidad, las dos solas, cómplices en nuestras sonrisas y nuestros silencios. Llevaba tiempo hablándole de un restaurante en Moscavide donde se come muy bien, comida típicamente portuguesa, y me gustaría que fuéramos allí a comer. Después de una mañana de compras en la tradicionalmente portuguesa Avenida de Moscavide, como decía mamá, perdimos un poco la cabeza, cansadas, agotadas y hambrientas, ya que esto de las compras navideñas cansa mucho, así que nos fuimos a «Os Grelhados» en la Rua António Maria Pais 16, en Moscavide. Llegamos sobre las dos de la tarde, lo que nos vino genial porque ya había pasado el bullicio de la hora de comer. No es un restaurante de lujo ni de chef, pero la comida es buena y muy sabrosa. El personal es maduro, atento y te hacen sentir como en casa. Gracias por acogernos tan bien y nos prometemos que volveremos pronto, pero...

We had lunch on a weekday. When we arrived at around 13:20 (no reservation possible) the restaurant was full and we (as well as others) had to wait for a table to be ready ) so I suggest that you arrive earlier). The waitress was doing her best but she was almost alone and it took her some time to attend to us. This restaurant only serves grilled fish and grilled meats, with some mixed salad and potatoes or french fries with each serving, bread and olives. We ordered grilled sardines, and they were very tasty and we especially liked their seasoning. The portions are relatively large, simply made and served, and very tasty! The prices are very reasonable, and the clients seems all local and regulars. I highly recommend...

This place is very special and very authentic. We regret that we found it late. It's not in touristic area of Lisbon and that makes it even nicer. There is wide variety of grilled food specially sea food with surprisingly cheap prices. The wine jar was also super cheap. The staff can not speak english and they do not have english menu, but they tried to help us finding our dishes. The food specially the octopus and the baby squids were delicious and...
