Extremely rude and prejudiced against us. We are two clean and well dressed people. Employee wouldn't seat us or and let us in. My partner and I attempted to go there for lunch at about 1230 on 09/09/2024. We were immediately greeted by a female who said, "my colleague will be right with you." I was about 5 feet away when the male colleague approached and asked my partner, "how many in your party" and "is the other person here as well." I waived and made eye contact with this colleague. After this the colleague asked the same questions to the 2 people behind us, the same response given by them, the colleague pulled those 2 people from behind us and sat them down 1st. We explained the situation to this colleague and he said, "Oh, the people who I just sat told me I made a mistake, I'll seat you right away." We waited another 3 minutes or so and 2 separate parties arrived; a 6 and 2. Guess what, both were seated before us. As to not cause any problems with this employee, we walked away never to return. This employee never looked at any type of reservation list and there were plenty of tables available. It's obvious that this establishment is prejudiced against certain types of people. We went around the corner and we were seated immediately....

The best place around for great beer, steak and other grilled delights! We've been coming here for years, every time we make the dinosaur pilgrimage to Lourinhã. Although it's always busy when we visit (peak summer time) we eventually get a table. You can see why locals queue to get in, the food is great value and delicious. Best bitoque I've had, and the ameijoas are good too. Great range of beers on pump, and the deserts are nice - good idea to have them in shot glasses for a smaller taste with coffee. A nice restaurant and pub in the heart of Lourinhã, offering a fairly diverse range of meals ranging which include vegetarian, meat and fish options.

The service is good and prices are fair, the restaurant has an indoor and covered outside area and is a good choice to watch the sport as they have a few tvs and projectors conveniently placed throughout the establishment.

The restaurant can get busy in the evenings so bookings are recommended to avoid table...
