Duque - Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Machico

This was by far the worst ramen experience I’ve ever had. What they served were nothing more than cheap instant noodles, dressed up with a few miserable toppings to pretend it was a real dish. It was an insult to call this “ramen.”

When asked if everything was okay, we were honest and said the ramen was terrible. They completely ignored our feedback and still charged us €15 per bowl. Paying that much for instant noodles is outrageous and feels like a scam.

This place is not about quality food, it’s about ripping off customers. If you value your money and your time, do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant...

The tuna was by far the best I have had on the island!! The very small restaurant had 5 tables because the chef makes the food as it is ordered so everything was very fresh! We had to take our to go but I have to say do not go if you are in any kind of hurry!!! believe there were 3, 2 top tables and 2, 4 top tables, that is how small it was. The server was a sweetheart, but I failed to get her name. I got the tuna and my husband got the California rolls. Absolutely delicious!! Fresh...

Fun, diverse fusion sushi experience! Beautifully presented, with thoughtful touches from the Lisbon trained chef.

Service is warm and the space is clean yet welcoming. They have a nice bar and cocktail menu, Aperol spritz and aguardente of course. And more.

I was very happy with the individual set menu, good variety and value. Trust me, if you’re in Machico and you want good food and value, step away from the waterfront and get into the heart...
