Stay well clear, the angry little man behind the bar decided that I didn’t speak Portuguese 1 second after I walked in and before I even opened my mouth, apparently that’s disrespectful, then started ranting about the British Government and shouting Rishi Sunak at me as I chose to turn and leave. Genuinely I think the guy is unstable. It’s their loss, I was going to ask if they could fit 20 people in later tonight to watch some sports. I am a British gentleman who has travelled around the globe. Joel, the owner was respectful and more than welcoming. We watched the EM under 21 final at his establishment and he was super friendly and accommodating. I would not hesitate in recommending the bar to visitors to Machico. A sense of humour and a good taste helps, one should not take the owners wit too seriously, it is like the salt on the chips:+)....

owner is very disrespectable , anti british and portuguese , he does have unger problem ss i noticed and he doesnt care about people he only cares about him argued with visitors and its a stremely bad atmosphere !! the worse experience i ever had as a portuguese myself all my life !! please dont go there there is such a lovely places to go and kind people...
