Nice quiet, quaint restaurant with inexpensive good food. We had tomato salad with soft cheese and a tomato onion soup (this was great). Followed by the scabbard fish with banana and the chicken curry with pineapple, both were good. The sweet banana really makes for a good flavour combination with the battered fish. Read moreThe atmosphere is casual, more of a small café-style space. It doesn’t try to appeal to tourists, and I really respect that, it feels like a proper locals hangout.
Food is good with fairly big portions, and the staff are friendly. Don’t expect a gourmet experience, but for the price it’s a solid deal. As a Portuguese, it actually reminded me of the little local restaurants back home.
