During my recent visit to Matosinhos, I had the pleasure of dining at a charming Thai restaurant, whose name alone evokes the essence of Thailand. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warmth that felt like a gentle embrace from an old friend. The interior, simple yet inviting, created an atmosphere that was both relaxing and authentic.

The cuisine was a delightful journey through the flavors of Thailand. Each dish, though simple in presentation, was a masterpiece of taste, perfectly balancing the complex flavors that Thai cuisine is renowned for. The Pad Thai was a standout, with its harmonious blend of sweet, sour, and salty flavors, and the Green Curry was a revelation, with its creamy texture and depth of flavor.

What truly set this restaurant apart was the hospitality. The staff were not just courteous but genuinely welcoming, making us feel valued and appreciated. Their recommendations were spot on, guiding us through a culinary adventure.

In conclusion, this Thai restaurant in Matosinhos is a gem. It offers not just good food, but a heartwarming experience that leaves you planning your next visit before you've even left. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a taste of Thailand with a...

Pros: Very friendly Great service Lots of choices on the menu, and supports vegetarians (they even customized the som tom for me) Clean, beautiful space

Cons This is the mildest Thai food I’ve ever eaten - and I even ordered extra chili peppers to mix in (we were given a spice level choice from 1 to 5, and I don’t think it effected the spiciness at all. Instead of sliced Thai peppers in one dish, sliced green beans that looked similar were substituted)

Other flavors are missing or not right, eg in the kao soi noodles, it tasted simply of dry curry powder, used raw onions instead of fried shallots, was missing lemongrass, lime juice, etc.

Portion size far too small. I love the fact that it’s a Thai restaurant in Porto but it felt like rather than sourcing the ingredients to make the food authentic, instead it just makes substitutions but still charges a premium.

Really unfortunate, was hoping to love this place, and certainly liked the people...

This is my favourite thai restaurant in Porto !! The service is excellent , they are always very friendly and smiley!!! đŸ˜ŠđŸ™đŸ»

This restaurant transports to Thailand , only not that spicy đŸŒ¶ as they can always cook from 1-5 levels of hot!

We have been coming the summer and this winter and the food is always as tasty , they have delicious curries, the chicken fried rice is also super tasty and most of the food is very well cooked.

Is very healthy and They use very little oil , to be honest sometimes we have it very late at night and never got sick!!

Also they have vegetarian đŸŒ± options and very tasty as well!! The prices are super reasonable and very good value for money !

The curries are my favourites , red ,yellow and green curry are super yummy !! But my favourite is the green !

I also recommend the mango and sticky rice 🍚 âŁïž

Definitely one of our faves in...

This is a great place! But, saying that the food here is authentic is a bit misleading. I've lived in Thailand for the past 5 years and used to eat all sorts of thai food literally every day. Although the service here was sensational and the food was indeed great, as someone that lived and ate like thais, I can't really say that everything you will eat here will feel legit, and that's not a problem by any means, but it's a distinction that is important to make. My point is that what you're going to find here is more along the lines of the tourist versions of real thai food OR what was possible to come up with given the ingredients available to the chef. I absolutely recommend the place, with a note tho: if you're REALLY into the REAL thai street food, manage your expectations ahead of time.

Super friendly local establishment English-speaking. A great place to pop into last minute does get busy around the lunch hours but they’re more than happy to accommodate you If they can. I think the last time I had pad Thai was 1992 decided to try theirs and it was delicious spot on. I would have been happy with more crushed peanuts and some freshly chopped scallions and or basil to sprinkle on top but then again I didn’t ask for it so I’m giving it a pass. Definitely worth going to if you have a hankering for Thai food.

I had a delightful experience. The food was incredible, especially the Tom Yam soup—it had the perfect balance of rich and tangy flavors. The prices were also very reasonable, offering great value for such high-quality dishes. What truly stood out was the kindness of the staff. On a rainy day, they went out of their way to lend me an umbrella, even though they didn’t know when I’d return. Such genuine hospitality, combined with amazing food and fair pricing, makes this a must-visit spot in Porto
