The Praia de Matosinhos is a beautiful, vast sandy beach near Porto, popular for sunbathing, surfing, and beach sports. It lies along a continuous coastline attracting many visitors seeking relaxation or active water sports. The beach is clean with soft golden sand, though it is less scenic than other Portuguese beaches due to the nearby port and industrial areas.
