I have had sushi from Nippon Sushi Bar twice, and both times, it was 10/10. The first time, I availed myself of the buffet service. Per person, it was around 17-18€ then. But last night, I ordered in. The salmon and tuna were so soft and fresh. None of them had a stale smell. I highly recommend this sushi place if you live/study/work near Sao Joao

It is the best sushi restaurant I've visited. The staff is pretty friendly and ready to answer all questions. The food is fresh and you can see the chef preparing your plates at the bar. The decoration is very nice. I highly recommend it to celebrate casual moments with friends or family. If you are nearby don't hesitate to visit them!

Minha experiência neste estabelecimento foi bastante decepcionante. Optamos por jantar em uma sexta-feira à noite, sem reservar mesa, pois tínhamos um compromisso às 22h. Chegamos pontualmente às 20:30. O restaurante segue um formato buffet à la carte, fornecendo aos clientes um papel e uma caneta para anotar os itens desejados no menu. Após solicitar uma sangria branca, enfrentamos uma considerável demora de 40 minutos até que os primeiros itens (dois temakis) fossem servidos. A espera para as demais peças adicionais consumiu mais 30 minutos.

Surpreendentemente, nos foi questionado sobre a possibilidade de pedir mais itens, mesmo com mais da metade do nosso pedido inicial ainda pendente, incluindo o sashimi, que curiosamente foi a última coisa a ser servida. Infelizmente, devido à demora, não conseguimos desfrutar plenamente da refeição que planejamos. O custo total foi de 47 euros.

Quanto à qualidade do sushi, notamos que algumas peças estavam servidas de maneira aquecida, o sashimi apresentava cortes desiguais e o atum estava excessivamente salgado. Além disso, algumas porções tinham uma quantidade desproporcional de arroz.

Em resumo, a experiência geral foi insatisfatória e, com base nesses problemas, não recomendaria uma visita futura. Estou à disposição para mais esclarecimentos...

One of the best buffet japonese places I visited in Portugal(and Ive been all around). The freshness of the food left me very proud and the taste of the fish persisted. The server was very kind and respectful(despite the average portuguese spoken, although better english), and gave us great recommendations. The price / quality goes hand in hand and I am actually surprised I didn’t...
