I recently went to Sushiaria for a group lunch and, as a vegetarian, I asked about the lunch options. Despite being a Sushi restaurant, I knew they had vegetarian options on their menu. The lady assisting us mentioned that vegetarian options are usually not available for lunch but offered to provide the Lunch menu (€13.50 for an appetizer, 12 pieces of sushi, beverage, and coffee) with vegetarian substitutions, to which I agreed.

The food was good, though it was very cucumber-based. I've been to other sushi places where the vegetarian options are more varied in terms of vegetables, not centered on just a few varieties. However, contrary to what was mentioned earlier, I was charged €17.50 (the same as the night menu), which was €4 more than the regular lunch menu. Given that vegetables are much cheaper than fish, this menu, which consisted mainly of rice, cucumber, and a few slices of avocado, did not justify the higher price nor align with what was offered to us.

When I questioned this, the lady said that what she offered was the night menu for lunch. This was very unpleasant and misleading. The menu should clearly describe such details. I hope they rethink their menus, pricing, and clarity...

This is just an okay place.

Staff is extraordinarily courteous, everyone was very professional and likeable.

The decoration is good, but tables are quite close together.

As far as sushi in Porto goes, Sushiaria is decent quality but quite expensive. You have better options for the price, and cheaper options for the same quality, making this a poor choice.

Location is premium, it is very close to the beach, but the views are less than ideal, as it faces a busy street. Very few tables even face outside.

It filled very quickly on a Saturday night and the atmosphere became quite loud - it is not a good place for a date.

There are some interesting combinations with codfish in the sushi, but overall we felt it was a...

Sushiaria is a true gem for sushi lovers! The restaurant offers an excellent dining experience, with top-quality ingredients, fresh flavors, and beautifully presented dishes. The service is outstanding—fast, friendly, and attentive, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable meal.

The portions are generous, and the menu is well-curated, offering a variety of flavors that cater to both sushi aficionados and newcomers.

Whether you’re in for a casual meal or a special occasion, Sushiaria delivers on every front—quality, service, and ambiance. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-tier sushi experience in Leça...
