Capri — Restaurant in Olhão

If you have standards when it comes to restaurant service, food quality and care about where you spend your money, avoid this restaurant at all costs.

Service: 3 waiters for a mid sized terrace and an hour and a half of spent of waiting at our table (not counting how long it took for us to order the food). Waiters seem disinterested in the job which already put a bad taste in our mouths.

Food: the best (or worst part). Most of the fish is unavailable on the menu, and whatever you do decide to order is extremely (extremely) disappointing for a hefty 14.90€. Note: you are given bread and butter without warning so you are lead to believe that this is free but for those who have never been to the area, this is extra. This Costs an additional 3-5€. By default because of the unbearable wait time you end up eating it.

From my experience I also had the unfortunate experience of having a cockroach fly into the miserable salad that was served with the two measly fried fish (see attached photo). Waiters were alerted, not a single reaction. No compensation either.

If you order the pork, the pork is over cooked and looks like a bit of shoe. The meals are all served with cheap frozen chips and a pot of rice.

Worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. I also would recommend not staying on fuseta if you don’t drive and are under the age of 40. There isn’t much to do and transportation is terrible in this area...

No "Boa Noite", No look in the eyes from the waiters. Please have a look at the last evaluations! The 2 waiters obviously can't handle so many customers!!! We waited 20 minutes to order and after another 40 minutes more we gave up, cause the table beside us had their food (arrived 5 minutes before us). Well after 60 minutes we wanted to leave and pay only the water and obligatory bread and olives... they said our food is ready in 2 minutes. When we talked to other customers, we noticed we are not the only ones who waited for so long. As one waiter noticed we are talking to other customers he offered to pay and leave. Suddenly we could pay and go. And we did this!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN.

First rule: NEVER ARGUE WITH A CUSTOMER second rule: BE FRIENDLY TO THE CUSTOMER third rule: IF IT TAKES LONG TO BRING THE FOOD: INFORM THE CUSTOMER!!!

OBVIOUSLY WE WERE NOT THE ONLY ONES WHO WAITED A LONG TIME.

GET MORE WAITERS AND TEACH WHAT !SERVICE! MEANS!!!!!!!!

This visit yesterday evening was embarrassing for all Restaurants in Fuzeta... Get well very...

Great atmosphere and just a cozy place to eat. The server talked pretty clear English which was a nice change. The food was kind of overly salted and tasted just 'meh' (I ordered something that was 3 kinds of meat just slapped onto a plate with fries). It is worth mentioning that this is a more seafood oriented restaurant and that they had a great variety of fresh fish dishes, and by looking at the other reviews of the fish I would imagine that they really nail those experiences. To sum it up: this restaurant should do what they do and not try to be something else. It's a fish restaurant and to be honest if they want to be anything else they will have to try a little harder. I recommend choosing another restaurant unless you are in the mood...
