Really tasty food with a lively atmosphere and caring service. We ended up visiting this restaurant last minute as our planned restaurant was closed for the evening. We arrived quite late but were quickly shown to one of the spare tables. We ultimately ordered three courses as the food was so delicious. We shared garlic shrimp, bread, garlic butter and seafood paté for starters. The specialty appears to be cataplana (like a Portuguese stew) based on the number of tables ordering, but we decided on the meat sharing board which came with fries and a salad. The house red was full bodied and well priced. The staff were helpful describing the menu and attentive to check everything was 'ok' throughout the meal. Even though we were quite full we opted to have a banoffee pie for dessert!

I gave a review to Ammar i Mar restaurant with the summary AMAZING. So, I've decided to check another restaurant of this group, Tierra I Mar. After a few minutes wait for a table... I started to see the menu, and tables around mine to decide what to order. I asked for Arroz a la Marinera or something like that. As in the other restaurant, in less than a pint my plate was there ready to be eaten. What can I say... I don't have words to express the taste, quality, and delicious dish I had..(See the photos so you can make your conclusions)... I have to order some bread to eat the "caldo" ;) All 5 stars (because I can't give more) I hope I can visit this restaurant again. If you are in Algarve (Lagos / Sagres / Faro, etc.) make the trip to Olhao you won't regret it.

Came back after 4 years and I was happy to see the food is just as wholesomely delicios as I remembered it. True, the first time I experienced it with my girls and after two jars of the best sparkling sangria I ever tasted (try the rose sparkling 2l sangria, it will make your holiday😂). I think we had the same waiter guiding us in this taste trip (great guy, knows his fish). They have freshly caught fish you can mix and match for your dish. We tried cuttlefish eggs (wonderful tender texture), gently fried fish roe, cuttlefish in its own ink and a huge anchovy (never knew they get so big). Best meal in Portugal. Oh and did I say rose sparkling sangria?

we passed the place browsing along the marina. i just wanted a little snack so opted for two starters: mussels in oil, koriander and garlic and deep fried white fish with garlic mayo. the mussels were fresh and yummy. unfortunately they drowned in the oil garlic soup which wasnt too tasteful. the white fish was boring..... the garlic mayo didnt do the job too well not quite complimenting the fish in its taste. i had the fresh lemonade which was the winner for me. we did get bread and garlic butter plus some seafood spread. unfort. the bread was old and dry... the waiters were very kind and attentive.

The best meal I've ever had in Portugal! I ordered the Seafood Rice with a side of Tomato rice and it was DELICIOUS. The sangria with sparkling wine was also so good. But even better than the food was the level of service. Our waiters were kind and attentive and took care of us so well. I highly recommend this place but I would also recommend making a reservation. When we got there there were several groups ahead of us in line with no reservations who didn't get to enjoy the restaurant.

Nice restaurant… we got the couvert of bread, herb butter, olive oil & imitation crab salad which were all scrumptious… the bread good too but the crust was a bit chewy… then the turbot fish which was huge, so delicious & wild caught. The sides of potatoes & dressed mixed leaf salad were tasty To drink we got sparkling wine… we wanted a sparkling rosé but they ran out so we just got a normal one & it was good. The service was very attentive. I would gladly return here
