O Horta — Restaurant in Olhão

I have a hard time believing the stickers on the window saying it was best at anything. For the entries, the ham looked reused or from several days old. We asked for Plumas de Porco, i'm still convinced it was another part of pork and not plumas, but because it was so burnt, we were not able to id, the fried chips that were supposed to be for three was two servings of frozen chips from the supermarket. The staff, can't say much about them, they looked like they were making an effort to serve but then again, the restaurant for the amount of tables was understaffed. In general you'd say it was an average experience, but when you compare the prices with the likes of "O Franguinho", "Oceano", "Pitéu" it leaves a lot to be desired, having been served much better food at a lower...

Unbelievable! Ordered some octopus, fish and squids. We left almost everything untouched cause it tasted awful - 2h later all of us were feeling reallly bad and vomiting cause of the food quality! All of it (sea food) was not fresh for sure. Its good that we have not eaten more… but that would not be possible…. Octopus like a gum with a strange awful taste. Squids? Uneatable! Toilets? So dirty that You were repulsed by the look of the dirty leftovers everywhere! This is not a Portugal we got used to - we live here for some time so we know the expected level of quality. This is for the people who would expect nothing and...

Great food that sadly came with a poor service. Other guests who were seated after us were served before us. The wine glasses were dirty to begin with. They misplaced our order of tuna steak, though they were quick to correct it. We had to ask for the bill 3 times before we got it. It was roughly 30 mins from the first time we asked for the bill, until we got to actually pay it.

The food was great though, so if you're okay with the abovementioned, it should be the right...
