From the lineup outside, it was clear that this family-owned sandwich shop was a popular spot, particularly known for its Leitão sandwich (suckling pig sandwiches). I had to stop and try it, and it did not disappoint.

This family-run deli has a simple yet perfected menu, offering the same suckling pig sandwich (Leitão) served in two types of freshly baked bread:

• Sandes de Leitão – A round bun (€8) • Baguette-style bread Warm, crispy, and slightly larger (€9)

This is a small place with mostly local people. Be prepared for a small wait at lunch time (well worth it in my opinion). This is definitely the place to have a light lunch if you are in Fatima.
