With several years of history, this is one of the best restaurants in Peniche.
A family restaurant, where the husband serves at the table and the wife prepares the food. During the service there tends to be a sharing of culture, and stories, which greatly enriches the experience.
For starters, they sometimes have sausages from Trás-os-Montes (North of Portugal) and very good cheeses. When it comes to the main course, I recommend several options: grilled tiger shrimp with garlic rice, fried alfaquique with "açorda de ovas", but the best, in my opinion, is the lobster rice (with more than just lobster). Finish off with some egg rolls ("trouxas de ovos") with orange or the chocolate mousse (a recipe that goes back to the time of the Swiss Charcuterie).

They had an unpleasant smell, were full of sand, were not properly cleaned from the sea moss, and had a nasty taste. When we pointed this out to the chef, she seemed not to care.
