Restaurante Sabores da Costa — Restaurant in Ponta Delgada

We were looking for a place to spend our last evening in Ponta Delgada. We chose Sabores da Costa and have no regrets! The girl who served us was super sweet and also the other waiters were very kind. They answered all our questions and gave his recommendations. We started with the clams which were very tasty. As a main the steak and prawns with rice, which were also very delicious. It was a quiet evening in the restaurant but the service was still excellent, we didn't feel rushed and had a great time. There was a small miscommunication on the dessert and we were offered a local liquor. Service was splendid, very friendly and helpfull staff. The view was very nice when u eat outside. Inside it's quite cosy.

We were with 3 people and ordered the house seafood platter for €90. It has clams, limpets, baked and boiled shrimps, crab (body is mixed with spices, very tasty!) And lobster.

The amount is perfect for 2-3 people, depending how much u eat.

The food was very fresh. The sauces and spices were very tasty. So we recommend to eat it with bread (so u can dip it in the sauces). Everything was boiled/baked perfectly. Not too dry or undercooked.

Overal we recommend this restaurant to other tourists!
