I was in the area for 6 nights. Once I discovered this place I ended up eating here for 4 days.

What I loved:

the food was delicious! I tried something different every time and I enjoyed everything! If you like (shell)fish I would definitely recommend the Esparguete with shimps and shellfish, the cataplana with tamboril and shrimps and the espetada (skewer) with shimps, inktvis and bacon! Accompanied with a nice glass of Sangria! I also tried a different desert every day. All fabulous and some were not too sweet, (which I like) like de tarte de Algarve

What is also especial at this place is the staff! As a single female traveler it’s nice to find a place where you feel safe and well served. They always had a table for me and where very accommodating. At the end of 4 days, it felt like a welcome place and leaving as a friend and loyal customer. On my last day, they offered me a drink (glass of Porto) as a goodbye drink. They were warm, genuine and kind! This a place I will...

Decent Seafood - Worth visiting pricing reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.

Visited in winter. Nice to find that it's open till 8pm in winter as many places are closed or shut very early

Visited twice in same day. 1st time to have beer and sopa di pixie. Just a snack. Soup wasn't just a purée, but had fish meat in it. Nicely made.

2nd time came in the late afternoon to have proper evening meal. BBQ Seafood kebab (chose to have a mix of shell, squid and fish) excellent having a good quantity and variety. Decent amount and variety of fresh vegetables. Also had the seafood cataplana for one which had a lovely variety of seafood and decent amount, together with potatoes. This was ample for one. Overall lovely experience.

Much better than ANY 'seafood' restaurant in the UK. Note to UK restaurants: people who grow up with seafood KNOW when it's fresh and when it's not. And they know the difference between its touched ice and it was frozen. And 'seafood' means more...

Recommended this place by some people. Staff were nice hence the 2 stars but the food and chef is really clueless and lacks care. The children's menu for fish fingers is straight out of lidl freezer, chips frozen no care at all. I mean really is it that hard to prepare some fresh fish goujons even from a cheap white local fish. ? I has salmon with garlic sauce, again terrible frozen chips, a side salad out of lidl and a vat of olive oil with some burnt garlic and lemon in a dish. The salmon wasn't a fillet at almost 16 euro. A lazy untrained chef works here. We're not looking for Michelin star food but my god a seafood restaurant serving frozen produced fish fingers , come on. Also overpriced. Better food and value...

It's a nice place, some of the waiters were nice, some of them were strange. Restaurant was not even half full when we arrived, but as a couple, we couldn't eat at table for 4, even though later on older German/British couples could. Food was ok, nothing special, fries were crispy, which is not common in Portugal noticed. Unfortunately, they are not cleaning prawns, so I ate two with their shit inside, when I asked the waiter about it, he said that it's common in Portugal, for me, chefs are lazy. Half chicken is not half chicken because they are not serving chicken breast, but for quick snacks, if you are hungry, it is ok place, but next time we want to try the place across it.
