Adris Restaurante Lounge — Restaurant in Portimão

What a great experience here. We came in on spec on valentine's night around 9pm and were pleased that they had a table available.

The restaurant was very busy and understandably so.

The service we recieved was exceptional.

Especially by the two staff who served us the most.

I have to say having watched the other staff they were all very good too.

The food we had were 2 different soups as well as a steak Portuguese style and monkfish in an incredibly tasty mustard sauce and the last cheesecake!!!

Pricing is very reasonable too for both food and drinks.

I wish I had the names of our servers so I could name them, sorry!

When we left as they had done with all guests not only did they wish them well they rushed to ensure they opened the door for you as you left.

That is another level of service, something I have never seen at that level before.

I highly recommend Adris Restaurant Lounge for food service and atmosphere.

We definitely recommend this place to all comers. The food here is fantastic and service is prompt and friendly.

We came here a variety of times over the course of our vacation and tried many of the options. The Lamb Shank is my personal favourite. The lamb falls off of the bone it is so tender. It is served with a tomato type sauce on a bed of pickled red cabbage with a half a peach on the side. Not a combination you’d think to put together, but a bite with all of these together is amazing.

Ultimately, though, the meals we have tried we haven’t had a single bad meal.

The steak is cooked perfectly and is wonderfully tender. The chicken salad is wonderful and topped with some of the most delicious fresh pineapple you’ll ever try. The bread is baked fresh. The wines and liquors are top notch.

We do not have any complaints or suggestions except to visit as soon as you can...

Friendly and attentive waiters, everyone was so friendly (this seems to be a norm with Portuguese, what a brilliant country!).

Highly recommend the buratta salad, I could have had 2 plates of these for my main meal, but we were there for steaks, I had the T-bone steak, which was slightly undercooked, but that was prefect for my wife, while my wife had the sirloin steak which was perfectly cooked for me, so we just did a swap.

Also had the recommended jug of white sangria (which has a scoop of lemon sorbet) , which we both had at least 2 full glasses and enjoyed the drink, which we both ended up a little tipsy 😁.

1 star was knocked off from the food as the chicken wing starter was quite dry, but everything else was very nice.
