Amanti Praia do Vau - Pizza, Pasta & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Portimão

Fantastic Italian with a great selection of pasta, salads, risottos, and pizzas to cater to almost all requirements.

Portions were huge, and the taste was superb! Their signature pasta dishes, Tagliatelle Amanti and Linguine Nero, were divine in taste, packed with seafood, and cooked to perfection.

It's also incredible value for money, with most mains being under €20 - we were also treated to Limoncello to finish (Nutella ice cream for the kids).

I'm definitely going back for pizza and cocktails. Highly recommend if in Portimao area.

I've had a beautiful experience in this place. Outstanding Roman style pizza, crispy till the end, great mozzarella, smooth and juicy tomato sauce. The sangria was amazing aswell, then I need to tell you to try the pistachio ice cream !!!! It's unbelievable! Most of places I've eaten an pistachio ice cream, it doesn't taste pistachio at all, but this one , mamma Mia, it's a pistachio flavour bomb in your mouth. Simply beautiful. Great music, very friendly and helpful staff, great vibes, amazing decoration, 5 minutes walk from the beach.. well .. I can't tell you much more how I loved this place and the experience itself. You need to try. I will come back soon for sure !...

I visited this place several times due to proximity with my accommodation.

The Amanti tagliatelle is definitely something to try. The white sauce is smooth, does not take away from the pasta, and the cheese is a nice touch.

I also tried a couple of their pizzas and they were very tasty. The crust is thin and does not come heavy to the stomach, which is appreciated if you have to walk/swim after the meal.

I am not a fan of the Spaghetti though. They felt rubbery, but the sauce was amazing. It seems that the chef is bringing in his own version of the spaghetti pasta, which is totally fine but not for me.
