Great venue with a truly breathtaking cliffside view over the ocean. The facility is modern, with the entire indoor dining area surrounded by an elaborate retractable door system, which lends to the indoor/outdoor vibe. The surrounding cliffside patio is extensive and includes private cabanas and nice areas to take scenic photos. The service was flawless, and the food options were plentiful. A steak lovers paradise, but with plenty of non-steak options such as chicken, fish, and pasta. Prices were reasonable/moderate, considering the cliffside location and the high quality of the food. The food came out fast and hot, with steaks cooked correctly to order. Wonderful meal in a beautiful setting, and with huge credit to the lady who served us too for fabulous customer service. Even taking an interest in whether the steaks were cooked as ordered and offering to get a fresh T-Bone cooked as having ordered rare, we got medium rare. We declined this genuine offer - because the steak was great as it was regardless - but what a great customer service? The food was just lovely, and that included food for non meat eaters. It's not all steak: the prawn risotto was incredible and the spinach and ricotta ravioli was excellent. The steaks really were incredible though 😁 and my son and I were very happy. The prices were good too, wine list was excellent, cocktails perfect, and with a live keyboard player setting the mood as the sun set, this was by far the best meal we had in and around Vau Beach and Alvors. They gave part of the group drinks, then started serving food to a couple of people, while others were still waiting on their drink. Inbetween people being served their plate, quite some time passed. Eventually, after receiving my risotto, I received my drink, same as a friend. All dishes were served warm, luke warm or cold, not hot. People finished their meal and by then, my husband still hadn't received his meal and decided to skip since nearly no one was happy anyway. Codfish was cold, tasteless and chewy, veggies were still hard. Prawn risotto was in all fairness nice but luke warm. Kinda sad that they hadn't gutted the prawns. Golden fish was luke warm and still had a lot of fishbones in them. Shared meat plate was cold, same with the fries. Meat itself was ok. Service was friendly and apologetic.
