Restaurante Os Costas — Restaurant in Portimão

Ok this is a strange one. We came here to watch the sunset over dinner as the view is sensational! Right on the beach. Ordered food and drinks which came out quickly and was good and tasty. The waiter was friendly and efficient. After that we barely saw him again, no one came to ask if we wanted more drinks or to clear the plates away. All the waiting staff sat and had dinner and deserts for half an hour?? We had to go and ask for every drink and for pudding, the restaurant was not busy with only 3 other tables taken so it was a bit strange to be ignored for the best part of 3 hours, we also had to approach the counter to pay the bill. On the flip side we were un rushed and able to enjoy a beautiful sunset which was fantastic and I didn't feel that the prices were high because of it. So I have scored 3 stars because the restaurant and views gets 5 but unfortunately the staff only get 2. Maybe...

Lovely beach side restaurant. Service was great and no complaints with the food. Went here for a late lunch as most places close between 15:00 and 18:00 but this one was open. Great value for food. The prices were reasonable and the food was one of the best out of all the beach side...
