Thoroughly enjoyed a relaxed and wholesome dinner at Capacho! Visited with a friend returning for the first time in 8 years... and still, Paolo and Fernando are the life and soul of the restaurant.
With almost all tables booked with reservations, a steady flow of clientel continued to pop in in the hopes of getting a table or booking ahead for another evening - needless to say, all signs that Capacho is a popular spot!
The food here is wonderful and simple; a good mix of traditional Portuguese and international dishes to choose from. The clams "bulhao pato" were a delight - delicate clams dressed in an olive oil and garlic sauce... recommended soaking every drop up with bread, don't let it go to waste! Portugese creme caramel (flan or pudim) was a lovely sweet treat to finish meal. All was wrapped up with a shot of port too for good measure.
The staff are super welcoming and attentive to everyone who steps in. Thank you Paolo, Fernando, and all at Capacho for a...
Read moreMy husband and I have been here twice. Both times the king prawns were made perfect. It is now our fave seafood, above the lobster. We also had the lamb with a one of a kind mintsauce. The chicken from the farm is a typical Portugese stew and had a lots of flavour. The squid kebab is something we never had before. The quality of the products is so good and Carpacho knows how to compliment them, without any crazy cheffy-like cooking. Just with simple and natural ingrediënts and perfect cooking! The menu is very affordable. The staff is very friendly and do their best to make us comfy. We recommend everyone to visit...

The main course took another half an hour and we gave up after that as they were still taking in new customers. No one came to ask if we wanted a dessert and I eventually went up to the counter to ask for the bill which I had to...
