Hello - we are in Portimao Portugal, had dinner tonight at Sol Restaurante on the strip.
We should have read the reviews first before going, for the most part we agree with the reviews. When I asked the server if the fish (Salmon, sardines, etc) was fresh, he took a few seconds to confirm yes fresh. I asked a second time and he confirmed fresh. Not only did they fail to rectify the situation, but they also couldn't be bothered to offer a measly discount or any form of compensation. Save yourself the trouble and opt for any other eatery unless you have a peculiar craving for flavorless,...

We we got it melon with ham starter was great. Olives wonderful and the main courses. I had the monkfish skewer had rice instead of potatoes and salad. The Monk fish was wonderful the rice al dents and the salad was a salad. My partner had a Pork fillet with fresh pineapple fries and salad. Fries I poached and were so hot they had just been done. The pork fillet was large and the pineapple just perfect. A lot of food to eat so we skipped dessert coffee was good with beers and two bottles of very cold water the bill was fare and cheap by UK...
