I was on vacation and went to eat at this restaurant, I ordered 5 dishes in total and drinks for me and my family, that was all we ordered. After a while the waiter comes with the couver or snacks, as we did not order them, we ate them anyway, as the menu clearly states that no snacks will be charged unless ordered. When I got the bill, for my surprise I was faced with a bill for the snacks, when confronted, the waiter said, "if you eat them you have to pay for them" in a rude and completely unprofessional way. It was someone else who did not identify themselves that worked at the restaurant that when hearing the situation said they would remove the cost. I have never been in an establishment where I had to pay for things I have never ordered, either placed by mistake or on purpose, but the worst is that it states in their own menu that nothing will be charged...

This is a very authentic Portuguese restaurant even though they offer a menu also in English. I believe we were the only non locals in the restaurant when we had lunch. We had pork with ameijoas, pata roxa fish stew, and the chicken a Teresinha. The soup was very tasty. We had Flan for dessert. They also had great coffee from Delta, which makes me think that you can have great coffee outside of Italy. I don't know if I will be back to Portimao but I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have some yummy down to earth food. Prices are very affordable. The lady running the show...

They Skip our reservation, was previous for 8 O'clock (am) and they put someone else over us. We ONLY start the dinner até 9:15 pm. The table service was TERRIBLE and the table didn't have glasses. Disapointed. The olives seem like they have been in other plate. I ordered some hamburgers for my niece, and they were RAW . Like i don't want to pay for a RAW piece of meat i would go to the butcher. Keep reminding that the table service was totally disorganized and poor. 3/10... Don't come here.
