First things first, if you’re hungry and this place is the only thing opened…i guarantee you, it’s not! Go through the burger king’s drive through. Food quality is the same but the staff will be nicer. Me and my wife had the Olives/Carrot Salad entree combo, Octopus Salad, Á Lagareiro Octopus and a Sangria.

Olives were ok;

Carrot salad was ok;

Octopus salad was fresh a week prior to serving it;

Á Lagareiro Octopus was dry and rubbery at the same time, and it’s came with a grand total of 3 potatoes and 1/2 of a sweet potato;

Sangria tasted like flavored water;

They brought bread inside a ziplock bag that could’ve been used to break a car window, I said no thank you and still got charged for it;

The live music was ok, but they want you to not have their food by playing along with some rhythmical instruments annoyingly tucked under the table leaving you no leg room, because they know how bad their food is;

Kitchen Staff kept staring at me and my Wife leaving us both very uncomfortable;

The rest of the staff was ok to meh. Got a stink eye by one of the waitresses upon entrance, the waitress that served us did her job so ok…the waitress that took our payment was meh since she tried to crack jokes when I asked for the wifi password since I’m not from there and needed to try to figure out payment last minute because all of a sudden it’s cash only (even though i didn’t see a sign anywhere…maybe I was just tired but i feel like it should be clear upon entrance);

Over all feels so sad to walk into a place in Portimão for some seafood and having this kind of experience. Will...

We chose this restaurant over several others in the bustling restaurant alley, drawn in by its appealing menu. Although the indoor decor was quite charming, we opted to sit outdoors to enjoy the warm evening. At first, everything was pleasant. the setting was comfortable and we were having a lovely time. Unfortunately, things began to unravel once our food started to arrive. our server struggled to identify which dish belonged to whom. When we asked about each plate, he was unsure and had to return to the kitchen multiple times, still carrying the food to confirm what each dish actually was. While we remained patient and understanding, it was disappointing to see the staff becoming visibly annoyed, despite the confusion stemming from their side. At one point, it felt as though we were being expected to identify our own meals just by looking at them. All we wanted was for each person to receive the correct order. With mains that included lamb chops, veal, chicken, various meats, fish, and pasta dishes, it was not a simple guessing game—especially given the portion sizes and plating. To top it off, we were only informed after the meal that the restaurant did not accept card payments, despite a bill exceeding €200. In a tourist-heavy area, this lack of communication added unnecessary stress at the end of an already frustrating dining experience. While the food itself was good, the poor service and lack of professionalism overshadowed the meal and left us with a soured impression of what could have been a...

Service: 1/10

As first-time tourists visiting Portugal, we decided to try this restaurant. We weren’t very hungry, so we ordered only starters and drinks, planning to possibly order more later. Unfortunately, when placing our order, we all thought we heard the waitress make a snide comment, quietly remarking that it was a bit weird to be ordering so little as a larger group, while also rolling her eyes. The restaurant was not even half full, which surprised us further. This immediately dampened our appetite and spoiled the atmosphere, as well as our opinion of this restaurant.

Additionally, we were served by a man in a tracksuit, more suited for the gym, who left his meal to serve us drinks and plates without washing his hands. This seemed inappropriate compared to the elegantly dressed rest of the staff. The starters were ok, but we felt uncomfortable, which ruined our entire evening. We travel frequently, but we have never encountered such treatment towards guests...

Average Portuguese food, with average ambience. It wasn't bad, it wasn't excellent. Just in between, which could be exactly what some people are looking for. You won't have to deal with crazy flavours or strange fusion dishes. Just straight up Portuguese cuisine. The octopus was well-cooked, but somewhat bland. The veal was... okay. Again, nothing really to say about it. Stewed veal is stewed veal but the mash was oddly flavoured. The cod was quite overcooked. Nothing really stood out as very tasty. They all sort of had the same incredibly mild seasoning. If you can call oil and salt "seasoning". Sweet potato was nice. The desserts were also okay. I expected much better based on the reviews. Coffee was watery. It is a pleasant little street and patio, and the decor is really cool. The server was also very friendly and good. But I just felt something a little lacking in the actual food.
