Kanpai has quickly become my go-to restaurant. The menu is absolutely fantastic, offering an all-you-can-eat option with a great variety of delicious and fresh pieces. Whether you’re looking for a casual meal or something a bit fancier, this place fits all moods perfectly. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the employees are incredibly attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience every time. One thing to note is that you can’t pay by card, as the machine has been broken for over a year, so make sure to bring cash. That said, it’s a minor inconvenience for such a great dining experience. Highly recommend a visit to Kanpai – you won’t regret it!

Péssima experiência a todos os níveis… Sou apreciadora de boa comida e é dos meus maiores prazeres, por isso fiquei tão desiludida. Foi, sem dúvida, o restaurante de sushi mais fraco que já frequentei. Desde o sushi que estava sem qualidade, peças com o arroz super seco, nada fresco, numa mesa que ficou cheia de comida porque ninguém teve vontade de comer (nunca me aconteceu antes), até ao atendimento lento (o restaurante estava vazio) e pouco simpático, aos profissionais que estavam de auscultadores (nunca vi tal coisa na vida, passa uma imagem péssima) na zona de bar/cozinha aberta no interior do restaurante. Chamamos a gerente que admitiu o problema do arroz e nos sugeriu servir novas peças. Vieram peças sem o arroz (tal lastimável era o seu estado), mas todas iguais, com salmão e cheias de molho (talvez para nos taparem os olhos com areia). Não houve o cuidado de perguntar se teríamos preferência por alguma peça, etc, e nunca mais teve o cuidado de voltar à nossa mesa e perguntar algo. No fim pagamos na mesma 25€ cada pessoa (éramos 4), por uma experiência verdadeiramente lastimável que nunca antes tinha vivido noutro restaurante.

Começando por explicar as 4 estrelas, infelizmente estava a haver uma obra grande à frente do restaurante e como ficámos na esplanada havia bastante barulho e não temos vista nenhuma para além de tábuas de madeira. Quando ao restaurante em si, o ambiente é bastante agradável, as cores combinam numa harmonia muito gira e os funcionários bastante simpáticos. O atendimento foi bastante rápido, tínhamos feito marcação e assim que chegámos podemos escolher a mesa e pouco depois realizámos o pedido. Os primeiros pratos chegaram rápido e estava tudo muito saboroso. O peixe estava fresco e o arroz estava cozinhado na perfeição. Um local a recomendar

No. Just don’t. I’m really struggling to find anything good to say about this restaurant. We went there for lunch. Asked for the executive lunch menu to be without cheese if possible. That wasn’t possible, which is fine I understand. I got recommended to take the 22 pieces Kanpai freestyle for nearly double the price, €25,- instead! That’s without the drinks that is included in the other lunch menu. So I had expectations for it to be at least better than the executive lunch. 8 pieces of salmon maki, 2 gunkans with orange sand and 6 thinnest slices of sashimi on a plate that is a disgrace to serve for the €25. And the quality of the sushi is slightly worse than the pre-made sushi you can get at a supermarket. The best thing about this place is the view of the Portuguese...

Good sushi, not first-class, but still good. The biggest problem in this restaurant is the staff. This was the worst service I've ever had in a restaurant in my entire life. The waitress was SO unprofessional that left me speechless. I told her to please be careful because of some allergies I have and she mixed everything together in one single plate not caring at all. Than, she untied her long hair and started touching it while serving the clients respecting no hygiene rule AND, when we ordered a second plate of sushi and then went out for a cigarette, we came back inside and they were cleaning the kitchen, which means that the waitress didn't even listen to our request. I will never come back....
