Lemos Café francesinhas — Restaurant in Porto

Today, we tried francesinhas for the first time at this wonderful restaurant, and we were truly impressed. Everything was excellent-the steak was high-quality and perfectly cooked, the sauce was delicious with just the right amount of spice, and the cheese and chips complemented the dish beautifully. The staff were incredibly friendly, and special thanks to our waiter, who provided outstanding service. Our first Francesinha, amazing. Friendly staff, lots of seating they were very good getting us a table fairly quickly even though they were very busy. They were very busy, late on a Tuesday night, because the food is delicious. You can tell the quality of a restaurant by the way the staff interacts, and you can tell they are like family here. A lovely spot just behind Casa da Música in Porto. The service was very friendly. My visit here was after reading some very good things about the francesinha and I'm glad that I did go. Nice consistency to the sauce which was served with the francesinha in a wide plate. The fries come separately and not drenched in the sauce as in some places... Everything was delicious and the only shame is that I get to visit Porto so very few times...
