The Taj Cuisine — Restaurant in Porto

This is the worst Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to! I’m from India and have been to plenty of Indian restaurants both in and outside the country, but the hospitality here was the worst.

My friend and I got there around 10 pm (they were open until 11) and there were already a few people inside. An Indian lady served us — not only was she unfriendly, but we didn’t feel welcome at all.

We weren’t given water or even paper napkins to start. We ordered a Paneer Paratha, but it was full of turmeric, really dry, and they didn’t even serve it with pickle or yogurt. When we asked, they brought it, but the paratha was so bad we couldn’t even eat half of it.

I had to ask for a napkin at the very end, before paying. Then I noticed they had charged us about 4 euros just for the yogurt! When I mentioned that paratha usually comes with yogurt, she just said, “That’s not how it’s done here.”

If they were tired and wanted to close early, they could’ve just told us — we would have happily gone somewhere else nearby. But treating customers like this and serving such bad food is completely...

Good ambiance & definitely food 🥗 is delicious. Everytime i found good taste than other restaurants Specially Daal Makhni is good options for Daal lovers. Naans are also available. Good sitting arrangement here. Parking 🅿️ in front of Restaurant Sometimes you have to wait here in evening. Also for coffee lovers it’s a good place. The taste of coffee ☕️ is good. Try classic cold coffee and café latte. Dine in & take away both available. Service is very fast and also very supportive and good staff. Overall good hospitality & service. . So it’s all depend on you what you like. Special arrangement for birthday event and kids meal are also available. Recommended with family on weekends particularly on this location....

My wife and I love indian food. We eat indian food all over the US and in the UK. This is the best Indian food i've ever had. i don't even leave food reviews. Chicken curry, butter chicken, and garlic naan. the american basics haha. Garlic naan is super flavorful, fluffy, and crispy. Chicken curry was recommended. amazing. butter chicken was the most flavorful i've ever had.

To the person that left a 1 star for the server not speaking english, shame on you. Came to a foreign country expecting them to speak YOUR language. Our server spoke broken english but did an amazing job double checking what we ordered. This place deserves to be packed to the brim every night. Super flavorful and...
