Luzzo Pizzaria — Restaurant in Porto

Awful customer services! Do not care about NUT ALLERGY had a meal and ask 3 members of staff regarding the desserts and nuts as I have an allergy All staff members reassured me there was no nuts in the dessert or their food Got the banoffee dessert within 2 bites my face and lips and throat was swelling up Called the staff over they said no nuts I said no there was nut as I am having an allergic reaction They said no nut only pistachio cream I said regardless pistachio is a nut! They said in Porto we class nuts as a whole I said so if a vegetarian asked for food you think it’s okay to pureee meat and give it to them I explained this was a serious matter, life threatening and a law suit They did not care had an attitude! They done nothing to help and still shoved the bill in our face There was no care or help or understanding just ignorance for this...

This Pizza place is located at a good location it is beautifuly design with plenty of space. We were there relatively early so the place was quite empty still. Its the kind of place where you don't really have service but you are to order everything from a tablet. Kind of annoying if you have questions about the Manu. But the big downsize here for me was the value for Money. If you pay more than expected you also expect large enough dishes and/or outstanding food quality. Both of these were missing. The pizza we ordered was very small and the taste wasn't balance at all. The pasta was a little better but also a very small portion was served and with almost no salt. The ricotta starter was tiny and drinks were overpriced. All in all it was ok, i would give an extra star if there was a service but I the tablet thingis...

Luzzo is a great place for top notch pizza and service.

I was impressed by the ordering system. It is via a tablet which makes things very efficient and quick. Within 3 mins of sending a drinks order through it arrived at the table which was quite amazing. Food arrived within 10 mins as well, so this system works and Luzzo is ontop of their game.

I had the Siffredi pizza with Napolitana base (which has the crust/rim). Pizza was very good and had a beautifully light and fluffy crust.

Moscatel de Setubal - very nice fortified dessert wine that, although in its own category, tastes somewhere between a red Port wine and a sweet Sherry. Paired beautifully with the ganache.
