This is one of the worst cafes I have ever visited. There was no sign of management. The English breakfast was out of tins! Tinned sausages, tinned mushrooms, bacon was foul. Now that is the good part. We waited 30 minutes to be served. Then waited 30 minutes to get the food. We asked for butter for the cold toast 3 times. It never arrived. We ordered orange juice. It never arrived. Even though we reminded them 3 times. Then they tried to charge us for the juice. I wanted to complain to the manager. Some girl about 18 kind of apologised then had to do the same to the two people behind me. The only thing they were good at was taking your money, oh and you had to queue to pay! Stay away. There are so many excellent places to eat minutes away...

A True Delight – 5/5!

Real Doce Porto is a true gem! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing break. The pastries are absolutely divine—fresh, beautifully presented, and incredibly delicious. I tried the fruit tart and the signature cream-filled pastry, both of which were exquisite. The balance of textures and sweetness was just right, making every bite a pleasure.

The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. And a glass of white wine sangria was the perfect complement to the desserts, adding a refreshing and light touch. If you’re in Porto and love great pastries, this place is a must-visit!

Highly...

I wanted to like it. The window display was beautiful and full of fancy pastries. The wait staff was nice enough but they warmed up the food and let it sit on the counter for a really long time until the drinks were ready and by then the food was only like warm. They do offer a small printed menu of suggestions but not a full readable menu. Prices are posted but they are behind the counter and very small/hard to read. The place was clean and had nicer than standard restrooms but they are downstairs if you have accessibility concerns. It was quite a bit more expensive than the smaller traditional cafeterias or pastelarias and the food at either would have been...
