The Best Pizza in Europe, Period
I’ve eaten pizza all over Europe, and I spend a lot of time in New York City, so when I say this was the best pizza I’ve ever had, I don’t say it lightly.
From the first bite, it was clear this place is on another level. The crust was pure perfection: crisp on the outside, airy and chewy inside, with that subtle sourdough tang that only comes from care and time. The cheese was rich, stretchy, and flavorful without being greasy, and every topping, from the freshest vegetables to the beautifully spiced meats, tasted like it was hand-selected that morning.
But the real star was the tomato sauce. Bright, vivid, and layered with flavor, it tasted house-made, like sun-ripened tomatoes were crushed that day just for our pie. It wasn’t just good, it was divine. You could taste the sun in it.
The setting only elevated the experience. Nestled within ancient stone walls that feel both intimate and timeless, the space has that magical, distinctly European charm. It felt like the gods of pizza themselves were watching over us.

Initially, we ordered a delicious pizza, which was fresh, flavorful, and generously topped. But that was not all! We had the opportunity to taste four different types of porto, which was a true delight for our taste buds. To conclude our culinary journey, we were presented with a masterpiece – the panna cotta, the taste of which was beyond description. It was the best panna cotta we have ever had.
What surprised us the most was the personal approach to the guests. Rafi not only took care of our taste buds but also took the time to engage in conversation with us. We felt like we were among friends, not just in a restaurant. This made our visit unforgettable and truly one-of-a-kind.
