Getting back into town after a very long travel day, rushed down to a new place near our apartment called Cult of Pita to eat before everything closed.

It is 10:40 PM and the Cult is still pumping with music and has a trendy vibe.

I order the Satan Pita and Matthew the falafel cult classic and french fries. I thought that mine would be spicy but I guess it’s called Satan because of the red beets and tomatoes 🤷🏻‍♀️

Both pitas were well stuffed with ingredients and a good amount of sauce. Unfortunately, mine did not make the travel home and had a hole at the bottom of the pita because of the sauce soaking through. There were many delivery drivers coming by as we were waiting for our take away, hopefully holes are not a constant problem.

The cashier did speak English and was friendly. He apologized for our wait as we hung about in the entryway watching a big birthday gathering in the back sing happy birthday and the restaurant bringing out the large sparkler candles to the table.

I always appreciate when businesses respond professionally to negative...

I came on my own to dine in, I did the most simply order; 1 Pita classic + 1 lipton icetea. Unfortunately I got such a bad service. The order got too long, I was seated waiting for my order while I was seing how new people were arriving and recieving their food before than me. After a while I went to ask what happened, and they told me it was almost ready, eventhough after a while a couple sitted in front of me that just arrived recieve their food first. I went to ask to the waiter why they never attend my order and many new people arriving were already eating? I know it was not the waiter fault, even though he apologies but could't give me an explanation about what happened. At the end he tried to make his best bringing more free food with any explanation. I can understand he tried his best, but please give a nice service to everyone and not to some, give polite explanation and not just a "sorry". A polite attitude would be quite better and cheaper than...

Hummus Heaven with Charming Service

This charming little Mediterranean diner is a hidden gem, serving up the most incredible hummus creations and falafel I've ever tasted. The restaurant has a wonderful rustic and cozy atmosphere.

The falafels were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, clearly hand-crafted with love. This was complemented with a wonderful tahini sauce.

Even when there was a small mix-up with one of our dishes, our waiter was genuinely apologetic and attentive, replacing it swiftly and checking in frequently to ensure we were happy. His charming service turned a minor kitchen error into a memorable interaction.

Everything we ate sang with the flavors of the Mediterranean, from the earthy hummuses to the flaky falafels. I left stuffed to the brim and can't wait to return soon to this charming little spot for the best falafel and hummus in town. The food, atmosphere, and service all come together to create a truly delightful...

After all the great reviews I decided it's time to go and try the food. The space is cool, music was good, vibe is nice. However, the acoustic isn't that great and if there are a few people in the room conversation gets difficult and exhausting. The staff has been super friendly and helpful. Food came quick after ordering at the counter. Generally the taste was okay, but tbh not really amazing. I had the Satan and I somehow expected some more flavours. I really like fatoush but this one was a bit plain. The highlight were probably the fried chickpeas. Prices for food are reasonable, however drinks are overpriced! A small beer is 3,5 Euro! I do want to mention though that they offer water for free. Overall it was an okay experience but I expected far more.

I tried the Satan pitta which has eggs, beetroot and aubergine in it - such an unusual (and honestly refreshing) combo for a pitta but it seriously worked. In fact I loved it so much I came back and had it again! The sauce was a particular highlight and I’ll echo what everyone else says that the pitta is the fluffiest I’ve ever had. The staff are also friendly and attentive (without being in your face) and made me feel really comfortable - you can tell that good customer service is important to them. They also handed out tester falafels which was a nice touch and gave me a free side when there was a small delay on getting the food out. Really impressed and would visit again!
