Sabor Atlantiko — Restaurant in Porto

I was impressed by one case: we didn't speak Portugal, that's why we ordered dishes just showing what we want in the menu, but additionally I wanted a cup of green tea and couldn't find it in menu. I couldn't tell it in Portugal language, waiter didn't understand me. At last I tired to explain and refused the tea. But the waiter found a person who speaks my language, came again to me and he translated about green tea. So lovely to feel that somebody takes care about your wishes! Franchesina was wonderful, tender, tasty, full of filling. I am vegetarian and ordered franchesina with vegetables. I reconmend...

I went for lunch and ordered tomato rice with codfish croquets but the sauce of the rice tasted so bad, bitter and looked like it was added afterwards instead of being cooked with the rice. Was so unpleasant that I couldn't eat anything. I said the manager and he was extremely rude by being cinical and asked me 'do you know how is a broken sauce's?! Unbelievable, that instead of apologize or understanding the complain was arguing with no manners. This restaurant has been recently refurbished and looks much better than before. You now have a section for smokers, walled off with glass and none of the smoke goes into the general area. Service is a bit poor and slow. I asked for the duck rice meal of the day and it came absolutely burnt to a crisp. I have no idea how a cook can let a dish like that leave the kitchen and how did the server not notice or refuse to serve burnt food to his customers. To me this is a place to avoid...
