Tasquinha Rebelo — Restaurant in Porto

I recently visited Tasquinha Rebelo in Porto and had an amazing experience. The restaurant offers authentic cuisine that is both delicious and affordable. The small bites were especially noteworthy, and I enjoyed trying a variety of flavors.

In addition to the food, the customer experience was excellent. Our waitress was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. She was knowledgeable about the menu and helped us select the perfect dishes for our meal.

A very small quaint local restaurant very near the Campanha Porto rail station. Four of us had a delightful dinner of 5 beers 1 coke and 8 dishes, resulting in cost of 48.90euro. We were the only non-locals there. Most of the dishes were tapas to medium size. The bifana pork roll, grilled chourico sausage, salad egg dishes and pimentos (I think they were jalapeno peppers) are definitely worth having. This place gets a 5 star because of the amazing helpfulness of the lovely lady working here, and because of the great tasting food. She didn't speak much English but she made it work! It really feels locally made, passionate and full of love. A really "come home to my portugese mom and she'll make us all a traditional meal"-kind of feeling. Not expensive either.
